What makes Kiama Medical Practice different? Why choose a privately billing clinic?
At Kiama Medical Practice we pride ourselves on offering a range of high quality services which are unable to be funded by the Medicare rebate alone (that is, by bulk billing).
Our doctors participate in regular education to ensure their medical knowledge and skills are comprehensive and up-to-date in order to provide a wide range of medical services including antenatal care, skin excisions and biopsies as well as women's contraception options (e.g. Mirena and Implanon insertion and removal). Being able to access high quality care in your local community avoids unnecessary referrals on to higher cost specialists and overworked emergency departments. We aim to save you precious time and money while providing the highest quality service.
We provide an experienced team of dedicated and caring nurses to support the high quality of our patient care. Our nurses are experienced in childhood vaccinations, specialised treatment for wounds and ulcers, home assessments, chronic disease management and women's health.
Kiama Medical Practice can function as a community-based emergency clinic and allows our patients to access urgent care and treatment for minor emergencies without the lengthy waits that you would encounter in the hospital emergency department.
